Fraser Health Authority is hiring a Casual Registered Nurse for the Renal team at Abbotsford Regional Hospital, Abbotsford, BC. Candidates must have completed Renal Specialty Education to be considered. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with an inter‑professional team, and support discharge planning across Fraser Health sites.

Formación

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing.
• Current practicing registration with BCCNM (RN).
• Two years of recent clinical nursing experience in a designated clinical area or equivalent.
• Post-graduate course work and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area preferred.
• Willingness to work across Fraser Health sites and adhere to standards.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments on admission and at regular intervals.
• Collaborate with patients, families and inter-professional team to develop and modify care plans.
• Coordinate nursing care and discharge planning with the care team and units.
• Provide patient and family education to support self-care and discharge readiness.
• Act as a preceptor or mentor to new staff and students.
