Job summary

Jobgether is partnering with a client in Canada to hire a Test Engineer for a part-time role focused on banking document generation and CCM systems. You will design test scenarios, run automated comparisons between legacy and new systems, and validate complex XML data streams across large volumes.

You'll collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify defects, support UAT, and contribute to performance testing.

Qualifications

Experience as Test Engineer in banking sector.
Advanced knowledge of XML, XPath, XSLT, and SQL.
Experience with large datasets and data-processing environments.
Knowledge of CCM, output management or document management systems.
Experience with automated testing and complex document validation.
Fluent German and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Analyze document logic and translate business rules into detailed test cases.
Design automated legacy-versus-new system comparisons using XML data streams.
Validate document content, layouts and formats to ensure consistency.
Create test data including anonymized datasets.
Support UAT and defect documentation with stakeholders.
Perform integration, end-to-end, performance and volume testing (~100 million pages annually).
Investigate defects and conduct regression testing with development teams.
