Job summary

Thomson Reuters DT Tax and Accounting Inc is seeking a remote customer support specialist to assist clients by phone and email for our tax software. You will apply policies, log requests, and participate in quality control testing from a home-based setup.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required. The role emphasizes bilingualism (French/English), willingness to work overtime, and weekend shifts during tax season in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in customer service.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to clients by telephone and email for our tax software.
• Apply company policy and procedures to resolve customer issues.
• Log requests from clients with respect to the issues they encounter.
• Participate in software quality control testing.
• Identify and log issues reported by clients.
• Apply active listening skills to diffuse a potentially tense customer interaction.
• Work will be performed 100% from home.
