Blacksmith Agency is scaling its marketing division and seeks a senior Account Strategist, SEO to own strategy, performance and client-facing leadership across paid search, paid social, SEO and conversion optimization.

The role blends strategic thinking with operational oversight, joining sales calls, guiding internal and external specialists, and driving measurable outcomes for a diverse client portfolio.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in PPC, SEO or multi-channel strategy.
• Experience running paid and organic channels concurrently.
• Expertise with Google Ads, GA4 and search tools.
• Ability to articulate strategic recommendations to clients and account executives.
• Track record of overseeing execution teams and ensuring quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for PPC and SEO across multiple clients.
• Join sales calls to validate scope and pitch recommendations.
• Build 90 day, 6 month and annual growth roadmaps for clients.
• Own client performance across Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft and organic search.
• Audit PPC campaigns, bidding, landing pages and CRO opportunities.
• Oversee technical SEO, on-page SEO, link building and AI-driven content.
• Own KPI tracking, attribution and analytics accuracy.
• Provide weekly direction and QA, coordinating with the marketing project manager.
• Present monthly and quarterly performance summaries to clients.
