Job summary

1Password is seeking a Solutions Engineer for SMB to act as a trusted technical advisor during fast-paced sales cycles. You will collaborate with Account Executives across identity, applications, endpoints, and secrets automation to align customer needs with 1Password solutions.

You’ll lead technical discovery, demonstrate platform value, and drive POV engagements to prove outcomes for developers and security teams.

Qualifications

2+ years in a technical, customer-facing role in B2B SaaS or similar environment.
Able to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Strong presentation, storytelling, and discovery skills.
Ability to prioritize and maintain quality in a fast-paced sales setting.
Experience working in a remote-first team and collaborating across functions.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical advisor for SMB sales opportunities with Account Executives.
Lead technical discovery with IT admins, security leaders, developers and DevOps teams.
Demonstrate and position EPM, SaaS Manager, and Device Trust solutions.
Run POV engagements to validate customer success criteria in cloud/automation contexts.
Assist customers in evaluating solutions in competitive PAM and secrets management scenarios.
Respond to security questionnaires, RFPs/RFIs, and other technical docs.
Collaborate with Sales Enablement, Product, Marketing, Support and Customer Experience; travel may be required.
