Job summary

1Password is seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer, Acceleration, to drive technical validation for emerging products and to shape direction with field feedback. You will collaborate across Product, Engineering, Enablement, Sales, and Customer Success to translate capabilities into repeatable customer motions.

You will lead executive-level engagements, develop demonstrations and reference architectures, and design enablement programs while working remotely across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles within enterprise B2B SaaS.
• Experience translating emerging technologies into customer value and field motions.
• Experience partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, or related cross-functional teams to validate capabilities and incorporate customer feedback.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical validation for emerging products and initiatives from development to GA.
• Partner with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Engineering to shape product direction and turn field feedback into actionable recommendations.
• Build repeatable discovery frameworks, demonstrations, technical messaging, reference architectures, and implementation guidance for the global Solutions Engineering organization.
• Design and deliver technical enablement, including workshops, labs, certifications, and playbooks that help Solutions Engineers confidently support new capabilities.
• Lead strategic customer engagements, private previews, beta programs, and early-adopter initiatives, providing executive-level technical guidance and influencing customer outcomes.
• Identify emerging market opportunities and represent 1Password through executive briefings, conferences, webinars, podcasts, customer events, and industry content.
• Mentor Solutions Engineers and lead cross-functional initiatives that accelerate adoption, strengthen technical excellence, and scale what works across the organization.
