Mozilla Corporation is seeking a Senior Application Engineer for Workplace Technology to design and maintain automation powering collaboration and AI productivity tools, and to integrate identity workflows across Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian.

You will build scalable services and integrations, implement observability, and collaborate with IT, Security, and People teams to ensure security and compliance.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years in software engineering or workplace technology with automation focus.
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian) and interest in AI workflows.
• Understanding of IAM/SSO (Okta, SAML/OIDC/SCIM) or willingness to grow; provisioning automation a plus.
• Experience or curiosity about CI/CD, workflow orchestration, and building self-service delivery models that leverage agents or automation.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scripts, APIs, and workflow automations powering workplace systems and tools.
• Develop lightweight services or integrations connecting collaboration, GenAI tools and internal systems.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability for automation and AI workflows; troubleshoot issues for reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Evolve onboarding, offboarding, and mover workflows across access, permissions and SaaS tools with automation.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, and People teams to embed identity, data, and compliance standards through automation.
• Participate in pilot projects for AI capabilities: integrate LLMs and agents, track usage and adoption metrics.
• Contribute to code-review, document shared libraries, and build integration templates for reuse across the team.
• Partner with senior engineers to modernize workplace systems via API-first design and intelligent workflows.
