Job summary

Bally's in Toronto is seeking a Senior Software Developer specializing in Automation & Integration to own the automation portfolio and design scalable AWS-based workflows. Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering delivering production systems.

Responsibilities

• Build monitoring and alerting from day one and lead incident response and root cause analysis.
• Lead and mentor engineers, reviewing designs, removing blockers, and raising the technical bar.
• Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, audit, and compliance, including PII handling and access control.
• Maintain runbooks and handover documentation.

Experience

System design skills with a focus on scalability, reliability, and failure handling.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and third-party integrations.

Excellent understanding of data, observability, security, privacy, and PII.

Familiarity with workflow orchestration and AI/LLM-powered automation is a plus.
