Placements24 seeks a highly experienced Remote Senior Project Manager specialized in software development to lead complex projects from conception to deployment within a fully distributed team.

You will apply Agile/Scrum to manage scope, timelines, and budgets while coordinating with globally distributed developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery and risk mitigation in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on software development projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects using Agile/Scrum.
• Experience managing remote or distributed teams and projects effectively.
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills; PMP or CSM certification highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent software development projects.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively within a remote setting.
• Implement and adhere to Agile/Scrum methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate and communicate with globally distributed development teams, product owners, and stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies, ensuring proactive problem-solving.
• Ensure high-quality software delivery through effective testing, integration, and deployment processes.
