Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Senior Account Manager to own a live book of business and drive growth from inception to close. You will build account plans, understand client objectives, and proactively present proposals to capture opportunities in a warm territory.

We value a hunter mentality with experience in marketing services, retainer and project work, and a track record of closing deals in Salesforce. Remote in US/CA/RSA with leadership collaboration across delivery teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing and growing a book of business in account management, client services or a hybrid seller role.
• A real number you carried and hit, with specifics on what you closed against it and how you built the pipeline.
• Marketing fluency: a credible conversation about paid search, organic visibility, conversion and what a redesign actually buys a client.
• Commercial confidence in scoping, pricing and negotiation, with no flinching when it is time to ask for the business.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute an account plan for every client in your portfolio.
• Know what they sell, what they are trying to do next year and where Blacksmith should be in that picture.
• Bring them the proposal before they think to ask.
