Job summary

PureBites and Primal Pet Foods are seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Representative to drive top-line growth across Eastern Canada, working remotely. The role focuses on building relationships with pet stores, executing territory plans, and promoting both brands to independent retailers.

You will collaborate with distributor representatives, train retailers, support in-store merchandising, and participate in trade shows, delivering nutrition education and compelling selling moments.

Qualifications

• Territory management sales experience required or preferred in pet retail
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to build relationships, influence in-store and close new business
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Grow top line sales by building relationships with pet stores in Eastern Canada
• Collaborate with distributor reps through ride-alongs and training
• Manage product placement and brand awareness in stores
• Develop and execute territory sales plan for growth and brand development
• Prospect and open new independent pet stores; support onboarding and first orders
• Present and sell new products, seasonal programs and promotions
• Represent at trade shows and events with distributors and retailers
• Support retailers with merchandising and in-store visibility
• Resolve retailer issues quickly and professionally
• Provide in-person and phone training and in-store demos
• Deliver nutrition education supporting Primal feeding and PureBites treats
