Placements24 is seeking an experienced Production Manager for a fully remote role based out of Kimberley, Canada. You will lead end-to-end production planning, execution, and optimization across product lines, leveraging Lean/Six Sigma to drive efficiency, quality, and cost control.

The role requires 8+ years in production management, strong ERP/MRP proficiency, and a track record of managing remote teams while implementing strategic production plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in production management within the manufacturing sector.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale production operations and leading remote teams.
• Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and production planning software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the production process, from raw material procurement to finished goods dispatch.
• Develop and implement strategic production plans to meet company goals and market demands.
• Manage and mentor production teams, fostering a culture of high performance, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor production performance metrics, analyze data, and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, regulatory compliance, and safety regulations .
• Drive innovation in production methods and technology adoption to enhance competitiveness.
