Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Product Manager for Payments Infrastructure, based in Canada, to shape core systems enabling secure, scalable money movement across markets and currencies. Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Product Management experience, including 3+ years with payment infrastructure, payment rails, ledger systems, or core banking/transaction platforms.
• Strong technical fluency for engaging in detailed architecture discussions on APIs, distributed systems, data consistency, transaction processing, and reliability.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Product Management, or related field.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across markets and time zones.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to trade off speed, cost, scalability, and reliability when defining product priorities.
• Experience with stablecoin or cryptocurrency settlement networks is a plus.
• Experience integrating banking partners or cross-border payment rails is a plus.
• Ability to document infrastructure capabilities for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the technical roadmap for core payment infrastructure, including rails, ledgers, settlement engines, currency conversion, and virtual accounts.
• Lead development of virtual accounts and Virtual IBAN infrastructure to support customer-facing payment experiences.
• Align infrastructure capabilities with customer requirements and translate product needs into technical priorities.
• Evaluate and oversee integrations with banking partners, liquidity providers, and stablecoin networks.
• Own transaction processing, settlement, and reconciliation across multiple currencies and networks.
• Define payment routing and currency conversion strategies for settlement via networks like USDC, USDT, and PYUSD.
• Partner with Engineering on APIs, distributed systems, data consistency, idempotency, error handling, and reconciliation.
• Incorporate liquidity requirements and funding models with Treasury into infrastructure design.
• Collaborate with Compliance to embed regulatory requirements into payment infrastructure.
• Define and monitor performance metrics such as transaction success, settlement times, uptime, and reconciliation accuracy.
• Work with Engineering on capacity, incident response, scalability, and technical debt prioritization.
• Document infrastructure capabilities and corridor-specific requirements for Product, Engineering, and go-to-market teams.
