Job summary

Optro is a fast-growing SaaS company delivering an AI-powered GRC platform. We are hiring a People Operations Coordinator to own tier 1 HR processes, manage the HR Service Desk, and leverage AI to streamline operations. This fully remote role can be based in the US or Canada, with a focus on North America.

You will drive process improvements, maintain documentation, and empower the People Team while delivering excellent employee experiences across regions.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year of experience in People Ops, Recruiting Coordinator, or related role.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to increase productivity.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Attention to detail with accurate employee data.
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels.
• Empathy and high service orientation for employees.

Responsibilities

• Serve as process lead for tier 1 HR processes including I-9 verifications and background checks.
• Manage HR Service Desk tickets with timely, empathetic responses.
• Handle the HR inbox and route external requests appropriately.
• Ensure process documentation is up to date.
• Maintain and improve employee resources and People Team enablement content.
• Identify opportunities to increase operational efficiency through automation and AI.
