The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in patient services or healthcare administration, strong English communication, and proficient documentation skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience in patient services or healthcare administration.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for patients, insurers, and physician offices on reimbursement and documentation.
• Collect, review, and submit reimbursement forms to private and provincial drug plans.
• Follow up with insurers to obtain coverage decisions and provide status updates.
• Maintain accurate case notes and patient records in program databases.
• Escalate complex cases per established procedures.
• Provide reimbursement status updates to healthcare professionals.
• Support patient follow-up to promote continuity of therapy.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and fax.
• Document and report Adverse Events per program requirements.
• Meet service levels and quality metrics.
• Participate in process improvements and training.
