Job summary

McKesson seeks a compassionate Part-Time Nurse Case Manager to support patients, clinicians, and clinics through our Patient Support Program. You will educate patients, coordinate care, and help navigate access and reimbursement, working across Alberta and British Columbia.

This primarily remote role requires about 2.5 days per week within 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. EST, with travel to clinics as needed. Active nursing license in Alberta or BC and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Part-Time Nurse Case Manager to support patients, healthcare providers, and clinic partners through a specialized Patient Support Program (PSP).

As a key member of the care team, you will help patients navigate their treatment journey by providing education, care coordination, and ongoing support. You will collaborate with physicians, clinics, pharmacies, and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely access to treatment and help deliver an exceptional patient experience.

This is a part-time position requiring approximately 2.5 days per week. Scheduled hours must fall within the program's operating hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST.

What You'll Do

Basic Requirements

• Active and unrestricted nursing license in Alberta and/or British Columbia (RN, RPN/LPN, or equivalent nursing designation).
• Diploma, degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience consistent with the P1 Professional Career Framework.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiencyusing Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
• Ability to work approximately 2.5 days per week within program operating hours of 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday.
• Ability to travel to clinics and healthcare sites throughout Alberta and British Columbia asrequired.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience working within a Patient Support Program (PSP).
• PriorNurseCase Management experience.
• Experience supporting patients receiving specialty medications or biologic therapies.
• Knowledge of reimbursement, patient access, or specialty pharmacy processes.
• Experience providing patient education and clinical support.
• Experience collaborating with physicians, specialty clinics, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Familiarity with chronic disease management andtreatment adherence programs.
• Additionalactive nursing licenses in Canadian provinces.

Travel, Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Primarily remote/home-based role with travel asrequired.
• Travel to clinics, healthcare facilities, and stakeholder meetings throughout Alberta and British Columbia.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation may berequired based on territory coverage.
• Must be able to work independently in a remote environment while effectively managing competing priorities.
• Occasional lifting and transportation of educational or program materials may berequired.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
