Job summary

Toromont Cat in Canada is seeking a Parts Counter Person to join our team. The role serves as the key customer contact for advising and distributing parts, delivering superior service at our branch and ensuring safety and quality in every interaction.

This position offers a rotating schedule at a remote site, with 14/14 or 12-hour shifts, and potential for bonuses within our total rewards package. You will work with DBS, SIS, and standard office tools to support inventory, ordering and customer

Qualifications

• Minimum post-secondary education.
• 3+ years of experience in a parts service role.
• Knowledge of DBS, SIS, Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound work behaviours in line with Health and Safety policies.
• Enhance customer experience with product expertise and current promotions.
• Manage parts inquiries via counter, email and phone in a timely, courteous manner.
• Oversee daily parts operation: sourcing, ordering, inventory, cores and warranties; build hydraulic hoses.
• Provide on-call service, including weekends and evenings when required.
• Rotation 14/14, 12 hours/day.

Toromont Cat is looking for a Parts Counter Person to join our team! The Parts Counter Person plays a vital role in customerservice at our Branch as the key customer contact for advising and distributing parts and consistently providing superior service.

Note: This position will be rotational as it is working at a remote site.

Pay Type

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

$49,845.00 to $62,305.00

The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times,in support of Toromont's Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
• Enhance our customer's experience and commitment to brand loyaltyby providing product expertise, relevant parts recommendations and regular communication of current and upcoming parts promotions
• Manage parts inquiries and correspondence effectivelyover the parts counter, throughemail and byphone in a timely and courteous manner
• Managethe daily functions of the parts operation, including sourcing, procuring andordering parts, following up onbackorders and credits, conducting inventory counts, processing cores and warrantiesas well as building hydraulic hoses for both internal and external customers
• Provide on call service as required, at times on weekends and evenings
• Rotation 14/14, 12 hours/day

Must-haves for this role:
