The role blends admin accuracy with case management, reviewing medical/functional information, coordinating with a third-party provider, and guiding managers on return-to-work planning.

Remote-friendly, Canada-wide. Ideal background includes Nursing (RN/LPN) or related field, with knowledge of workers' compensation, disability management, and strong documentation

Qualifications

• Experience in occupational claims, disability management, workers' compensation, or related field.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and functional limitations.
• Proficiency with documentation, deadlines, and privacy requirements.

Responsabilités

• Support development and improvement of occupational claims management processes.
• Coordinate claims with third-party provider and internal systems.
• Ensure branches provide timely incident and return-to-work documentation.
• Review medical and functional information for discrepancies.
• Monitor active claims and identify delays or issues requiring action.
• Serve as liaison between branches and the provider for information exchange.
• Assist in developing modified work and return-to-work plans.
• Monitor provider management of claims and service expectations.
• Guide managers and workers on claims processes and return-to-work considerations.
• Maintain knowledge of provincial workers' compensation legislation and procedures.
• Coordinate work-from-home assignments where appropriate.
• Preserve video or evidence related to incidents when appropriate.
• Review incident information to identify corrective actions and prevention.
