Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Network Administrator to design, implement, and manage LAN/WAN networks from a distributed location. You will monitor performance and security and provide technical guidance to internal teams to ensure reliable connectivity.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience, strong TCP/IP/DNS/DHCP/VPN knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
• Experience with network security principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work remotely and unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage LAN/WAN networks.
• Monitor network performance and security; identify and resolve issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
