Job summary

NewAge Products Inc. is seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team remotely. You will maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, and virtualization environments, ensuring high availability and security across Windows Server, AD, and cloud services.

Responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting, deploying VMware/Hyper-V, managing backups, and aligning with HIPAA/PCI/GDPR where applicable. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in network and systems administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Suite or Google workplace, Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, MacOS operating systems.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V, VDI and Citrix.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SMTP.
  • Familiarity with network security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks.
  • Experience with backup technologies like Datto, Veeam, Acronis etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Working hours from 6.00 pm to 3.00 am IST.

  • Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and uptime of systems and network infrastructure.
  • Manage and maintain the company's servers, including email, print, and backup servers, and their associated operating systems and software.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols and policies to ensure the security of the company's network and data.
  • Administer and maintain network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure the network infrastructure is optimized and secure.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA, PCI and GDPR.
  • Identify and recommend new hardware and software solutions to meet the changing needs of the organization.
