Job summary

Kal Tire is seeking a Network Administrator for a Vernon, BC area role with remote work options. You will design, implement, document and administer our network infrastructures while supporting day-to-day operations, security, and performance monitoring across multiple sites.

The role requires at least 3 years of network experience in a medium-to-large enterprise, familiarity with Cisco equipment, Meraki, Ruckus, and Palo Alto firewalls, plus incident management and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
• Experience with enterprise networks and complex technology environments.
• Ability to manage security, monitoring, backups and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Document and administer network infrastructures.
• Troubleshoot complex networking issues and ensure security and access control.
• Lead network maintenance and project tasks across the network.
• Develop design documents and identify cost savings and performance improvements.
