Job summary

Cornerstone Compliance is seeking a detail-oriented junior bookkeeper to join our small, remote-friendly team in Canada. This flexible, part-time role offers 5–10 hours per week from home, with compensation of CAD 20–22 per hour.

You will support our senior bookkeeper by handling day-to-day QuickBooks Online tasks, reconciling transactions, processing receipts with Dext/Hubdoc, and assisting with month-end activity and client onboarding in a collaborative, process-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Familiarity with Dext or Hubdoc is a plus.
• Reliable computer with webcam and screen-share capability.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks Online.
• Enter and reconcile transactions.
• Process receipts and bills through Dext and Hubdoc.
• Assist with month-end tasks and account cleanup.
• Assist with client onboarding setup.
• Follow established processes and checklists.
• Report to and coordinate with the senior bookkeeper and owner.
• Create and maintain client manuals and CRM records.
