Job summary

JA Bookkeeping in Revelstoke, BC is seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Junior Bookkeeper for a part‑time, hybrid role. You’ll gain hands‑on experience, recording transactions and keeping accurate records while you learn our processes.

Hours are flexible with growth potential. You’ll work with QuickBooks Online, Dext, and Xero; prior certificates help but are not required as training is provided and you’ll develop your bookkeeping foundations.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of bookkeeping principles.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and work independently.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Dext or Xero is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Record and categorize financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
• Maintain up-to-date bookkeeping records.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Organize receipts, invoices, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with GST/PST and other routine bookkeeping requirements.
• Work with software such as QuickBooks Online and Dext.
• Communicate with clients for information/documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end bookkeeping preparation.
• Responsibilities can grow over time as experience develops.
