Job summary

Aramark is seeking an HR Manager (Temporary) to provide leadership and expert HR support to remote operations across Western Canada. You will partner with leaders to drive employee and labour relations, workforce planning, performance management, and compliance in a fast‑paced, multi-site setting.

The role requires travel to remote sites (approximately 30–40%), strong communication skills, and a hands-on approach to organizational effectiveness, policy implementation, and employee development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Strong employee and labour relations experience, including investigations, discipline, grievance management, and unionized environments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR partner to leaders and employees across Western Canada.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, discipline, and policy interpretation.
  • Support labour relations activities, including grievances and union-management relationships.
  • Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, and corrective action.
  • Support employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives.
  • Partner with operational leaders to support staffing plans, onboarding, and workforce mobility.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and provincial employment legislation during all HR processes.
  • Provide HR data, reporting, and insights to leaders and management.
