Job summary

Sizanid Staffing, part of Sizanid HR, is seeking an organized and proactive HR Coordinator to join our team in Winnipeg. You will support day-to-day HR operations, facilitate onboarding, assist recruitment efforts, and help maintain HR records within the HRIS system.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 1–3 years of HR experience, with strong communication and organizational skills. This full-time role offers benefits and a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in an HR support or coordinator role, preferably within staffing or recruitment.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
• Demonstrated understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate the recruitment process including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
• Assist in onboarding new employees by preparing documentation, conducting orientations, and ensuring smooth integration.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and employee files within the HRIS system.
• Support employee relations by addressing routine inquiries and escalating issues when necessary.
• Coordinate training sessions and assist in the implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
• Prepare and process HR documents such as employment contracts, offer letters, and change notices.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
