Placements24 is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to establish and lead international procurement remotely. The role requires steering supplier onboarding, negotiations, and risk management for a diverse product portfolio across regions.

You'll manage global supplier relationships, ensure trade compliance, and drive cost savings with a focus on ethics and sustainability in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in global sourcing, international procurement, or strategic category management.
• Proven track record sourcing complex products/materials globally.
• Expertise in international contract negotiation and supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical skills with global market data interpretation.
• Excellent cross-cultural communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience in remote-first or distributed teams.
• Proficiency with ERP, sourcing platforms, and supply chain software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global sourcing strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Identify, vet, and onboard international suppliers across product categories and regions.
• Lead complex negotiations on pricing, lead times, and payment terms.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key international partners.
• Perform market intelligence and risk assessments for global supply chains.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and ethical sourcing.
• Collaborate with product, logistics, and operations to integrate sourced materials.
• Drive continuous improvement to achieve cost savings and resilience.
• Mitigate supply chain risks including geopolitical and logistical factors.
• Oversee implementation of global sourcing tools and technologies.
