Qualifications

• CA(SA) or equivalent qualification required.
• 7+ years accounting and financial management experience.
• At least 3 years in a Controller or senior role.
• Experience with IFRS and South African tax legislation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Develop and implement robust internal controls and accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Manage the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
• Support strategic decision-making by providing financial analysis and insights.
• Implement and manage financial systems and technologies to optimize processes.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and tax laws.
