RBC is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to nurture high-value personal and small business client relationships. You will provide proactive guidance across everyday banking, investments, and credit while coordinating with RBC partners to tailor solutions to clients’ goals.

You will travel within your local community, leveraging digital tools to serve clients, develop trust, and grow a robust Advice Experience across personal and business needs.

Qualifications

• Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
• Canada (excluding Quebec) - Completed Designated Financial Services Advisor (DFSA) designation, offered through the Canadian Securities Institute.
• Quebec – Completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance, offered through the Canadian Securities Institute.
• 2–3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops).

Responsibilities

• Consistently demonstrate empathy and understanding in client interactions.
• Communicate effectively to uncover client needs and deliver client-centric advice and solutions.
• Collaborate with RBC partners to meet clients' financial needs (personal and business).
• Provide professional advice on complex credit and investments tailored to client circumstances.
• Promote digital enablement and guide clients to self-serve when appropriate.
• Use technology to connect with clients virtually and in person.
• Build and accelerate new client acquisition and retention in the local community.
• Coordinate with financial planning and banking experts to deliver customized advice.
