Job summary

RBC is seeking a Financial Advisor to attract, nurture, and grow relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. You will provide proactive advice across everyday banking, investments and credit, collaborating with RBC partners to support client goals. Mobility between branch locations is a condition of employment.

The role emphasizes client-centric service, digital education, and local community networking to drive new client acquisition and retention in Rouyn-Noranda.

Qualifications

• Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course) is required.
• Quebec Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance completed (Quebec) is required.
• 1–2 years of proven sales experience in financial services, handling credit and investments.
• Bilingual in English and French to serve clients across language needs.
• Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trust with clients and prospective clients.
• Deliver client-centric financial advice and resolve questions at first contact.
• Collaborate with RBC partners to meet clients' financial needs across banking, investments and credit.
• Educate clients on digital self-serve options while providing personal guidance.
• Develop a local network in the community to accelerate client acquisition and retention.
