Jobgether is partnering with a Canadian-based organization seeking a Finance & Accounting Expert for independent contractor work. You will design complex, multi-step scenarios across FP&A, financial reporting, auditing, and reconciliations, and develop clear grading rubrics and supporting materials.

Remote work from anywhere with strong attention to detail and professional judgment is required. The engagement starts soon and runs as an initial 12-month contract, averaging about 15 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on FP&A experience, financial reporting, auditing, or reconciliations.
• Experience developing or applying structured review standards (e.g., audit programs, checklists).
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze data across multiple sources.
• Excellent written English with clear, objective evaluation criteria.

Responsabilités

• Design realistic, multi-step finance and accounting tasks based on practical workflows.
• Develop clear task instructions and grading rubrics for consistent evaluation.
• Create challenging scenarios requiring professional judgment and financial reasoning.
• Prepare or source supporting materials such as spreadsheets and financial statements.
• Review tasks for clarity, accuracy, and gradability to ensure reliable assessments.
• Deliver tasks on schedule with high quality and consistency.
