Job summary

Jobgether collaborates with a partner company based in Canada to recruit a Data Analyst, Finance Analytics. This remote-first role focuses on transforming financial and SaaS data into reliable insights that support ARR, retention, subscriptions, billing, and pricing strategies.

You will build interactive dashboards, develop trusted data models, and deliver self-service reporting for Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations while modernizing workflows with AI-powered tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analytics, BI, or financial analytics for business stakeholders.
• Strong SQL skills including joins, CTEs, window functions.
• Understanding of data modeling with fact/dimension tables and star schemas.
• Analytical problem-solving with ability to validate findings.
• Translate stakeholder questions into defined analytical tasks and dashboards.
• Experience with Finance, Sales, or go-to-market metrics (ARR, retention, subscriptions).
• Proficiency with BI tools to build interactive dashboards and workflows.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and applying AI to reporting and automation.
• Exposure to dbt and enterprise data sources (Salesforce, Stripe, NetSuite).
• Attention to data quality, documentation, and consistent metric definitions.
• Strong communication to explain findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and business data across ARR, subscriptions, retention, billing, and cohorts to identify trends and insights.
• Build, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reporting solutions for stakeholders.
• Gather requirements, clarify objectives, and ensure reporting meets business needs.
• Support month-end and quarter-end reporting by investigating variances and drivers.
• Develop reliable data models with agreed metric definitions.
• Partner with Analytics Engineering to productionize datasets and ensure data quality.
• Leverage AI-enabled workflows to automate repetitive reporting tasks.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Revenue Ops, and Data teams on analytical needs.
• Support pricing strategies and evolving business models with data foundations.
• Present findings clearly, document methodologies, and provide recommendations.
