Job summary

BinSentry is seeking a conscientious Part-Time Field Technician to install and service devices at farm locations across multiple regions. The role involves on-site setup, basic troubleshooting, and strict biosecurity adherence.

You will mostly work from a home location, driving to sites, documenting miles and time, while maintaining safety and accuracy in all tasks. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Working at heights certification and understanding of fall protection equipment.
• Clean driving record with ability to drive 8–10 hours per day.
• Reliable smartphone with basic measurement capability.
• Organizational and problem solving skills.
• Excellent English communication.
• Positive attitude and service mindset.
• Trustworthy, prompt and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Drive to rural areas to install & service devices on farm locations (1–50 per day).
• Disinfect tires and boots, climb bins 10–40 ft tall, install sensor and small solar panel. Installation typically 10–15 minutes.
• Troubleshoot basic issues on field devices as needed.
• Adhere to biosecurity rules for each farm location.
• Maintain accurate mileage records and time sheets.
