BinSentry is seeking an experienced IT Manager to own internal IT and facilities end-to-end. You will lead a small team, perform hands-on work, and manage identity, devices, licensing, and security across office + lab environments.

You will coordinate IT priorities, onboard new hires, and supervise vendors while ensuring compliance and a safe, efficient workspace for a fast-growing ag-tech company in KW.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 5+ years of experience in IT operations or systems administration.
• 2+ years of experience leading IT staff.
• Experience with identity and access management (SSO/MFA), endpoint management (MDM), and Google Workspace.
• Networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, firewalls, VLANs, VPN) in a multi-site or office + lab/production environment.
• Experience implementing and maintaining security controls (patching, backups, device encryption, access reviews) and supporting audits or customer security questionnaires.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, and service agreements.
• Exposure to facilities or office operations: building access, maintenance, space planning, health and safety.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills; able to explain technical issues to non-technical people.
• Capable of guiding others through complex technical problems.
• Capable of using power tools such as drills and saws.

Responsabilités

• Direct the day-to-day activities of the IT team by setting priorities, while personally handling escalations and hands-on work.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and support individual career development.
• Lead the interviewing and onboarding of new team members as the team grows.
• Own identity, device, and application lifecycle: employee onboarding and offboarding, hardware provisioning, software licensing, and SaaS administration.
• Operate and improve the corporate network and infrastructure across the office, lab, and assembly areas.
• Maintain and enforce IT security controls; partner with Engineering and Security on policies, audits, and customer security questionnaires.
• Provide responsive end-user support and build self-serve documentation so the team can scale without the headcount.
• Manage the IT budget and procure the tools, equipment, and services the company needs.
• Own the physical workplace: building access and physical security, maintenance, moving of equipment.
• Manage facilities vendors, contractors, and the landlord relationship; coordinate repairs and service calls.
• Plan and execute office changes: seating, expansions, moves, and build-outs for lab and assembly space.
• Maintain workplace health and safety basics and ensure facilities meet any compliance or insurance requirements.
