Placements24 is seeking an organized Electrical Engineer to support the project management team in a fully remote Canada-wide role. You will help plan, execute, and monitor electrical projects, bridging technical execution and administration while communicating effectively with teams, vendors, and clients.

The role emphasizes remote collaboration, strong organization, and attention to detail. 2–4 years of experience and a solid grounding in electrical engineering are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of electrical engineering experience with exposure to project coordination or management support.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (MS Project, Asana).
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and project lifecycles.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets for electrical engineering projects.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, and clients to track project progress and deliverables.
• Review technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Support procurement by gathering technical requirements and evaluating vendor proposals.
• Monitor project risks and issues and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
• Prepare project status reports and conduct virtual project review meetings.
