Job summary

Participate in the management and electrical design of wind, solar projects in Canada.

Ensure the follow-up of the electrical engineering aspects of projects with the consultants mandated for the project; monitor and participate in the review of services delivered by consultants (drawings, studies, calculation notes, etc.) to ensure they meet client needs, budgets, and contractual requirements.

Participate in the procurement and manufacturing of major equipment in accordance with project schedules.

Participate in project meetings.

Monitor and support the site team as needed during construction.

Perform any other related tasks.

This role could be for you if you have

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering – power system (an asset) or any relevant experience.
  • Have 1-2 years of experience in HV substation and/or MV network construction.
  • Advanced fluency in French, oral and written.
  • Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English to interact daily with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, partners, and colleagues outside Québec. Responsibilities include participating in coordination and project management meetings with national teams, providing progress updates, and preparing reports for English‑speaking stakeholders. The role also requires reading and understanding technical documentation written exclusively in English.
  • Ability to synthesize, analyze and express oneself clearly.
  • Be meticulous and have great attention to detail when required.
  • Enjoy teamwork and collaboration with remote teams.
