Qualifications

• Post-secondary education completed.
• 1–2 years relevant underwriting experience is preferred.
• Industry designations pursued are assets.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate commercial property and liability business at all transactional touchpoints to determine risk.
• Provide calculations for policies and support to broker force.
• Evaluate policies for acceptability of risk while promoting new business and retention.
• Mentor and train support staff within the underwriting department.
