Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Chemical Process Engineer to join our client’s team. This 100% remote role focuses on designing, simulating, and optimizing chemical processes to meet production goals while ensuring safety and sustainability.

You will work independently, using Aspen Plus or HYSYS for simulations, develop PFDs and P&IDs, and prepare detailed reports for remote stakeholders. A 6+ year track record in remote project delivery is preferred, with a strong engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in chemical process engineering.
• Proficiency with process simulation software such as Aspen Plus or HYSYS and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and unit operations.
• Excellent digital communication, collaboration, and remote-project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes for new and existing products, working remotely.
• Conduct process simulations and modeling to analyze performance and identify improvements.
