Placements24 is seeking a Remote Chemical Process Safety Analyst to join a growing safety compliance team. You will analyze safety data, support risk assessments, and help develop robust safety procedures across chemical operations from any location.

The role emphasizes compliance with safety regulations, proactive safety culture, and use of digital collaboration tools to coordinate with site personnel and engineers remotely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in process safety, risk management, or related safety roles.
• Familiarity with Process Safety Management (PSM) principles and hazard analysis techniques.
• Strong data analysis and report writing skills.
• Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, suitable for a remote working environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze process safety incident reports, near misses, and audit findings to identify trends and systemic issues.
• Support the facilitation and documentation of Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs).
• Assist in the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Conduct research on process safety best practices and regulatory updates.
• Maintain and update safety databases and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with site safety personnel and engineers via virtual communication channels to address safety concerns.
