Job summary

LandSea Camp Services, part of the Aramark Canada family, seeks a Relief Camp Manager to oversee remote camp operations, housing, and on-site services. You will supervise housekeeping, kitchen, catering, and maintenance teams while ensuring safety, budgeting, and efficient facility management.

The role offers a temporary contract from Oct 16 to Dec 10, 2026, with meals and accommodation provided, travel paid, and opportunities for professional development in a remote camp setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience in a related field; preferably camp accommodation and catering.
• 3+ years' experience in a managerial role.
• First Aid and Food Safe training; WHMIS and Health & Safety training.
• Knowledge of Camp Manager Database programs and POS systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong decision making, time management and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily camp operations and ensure smooth service delivery.
• Oversee camp start-ups, shutdowns, maintenance, and facility management.
• Monitor inventory, purchasing, receiving, and supply levels.
• Ensure camp occupancy records and staffing levels are accurate.
• Complete and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Manage timesheets, incident reports, performance reviews, and employee records.
• Track budgets, camp expenses, purchasing, and inventory controls.
• Maintain accurate operational and financial documentation.
• Supervise housekeeping, kitchen, catering, and maintenance teams.
• Train, coach, and support camp employees; conduct performance evaluations.
• Promote teamwork and a respectful workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and government regulations.
• Conduct safety meetings and maintain safety records.
• Investigate incidents and complete required documentation.
• Ensure food handling and sanitation standards are followed.
• Check inbound/outbound guest lists; ensure accommodations meet standards.
• Respond to client and guest concerns promptly and deliver high-quality service.
