Job summary

Mercor, a San Francisco–based company connecting elite creative and technical talent with AI research labs, seeks a Marketing Expert – Brand Marketing (AI Agent Environments) for a remote contract role. You will design brand initiatives, own positioning, and guide brand tracking and investment decisions.

In this role you’ll leverage GA4 data, craft realistic task versions and rubrics, and review AI agent attempts to ensure clear, data-driven messaging and strong practitioner outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on practitioner experience in brand marketing.
• Comfortable with brand tracking studies, share-of-voice data, and GA4.
• Clear written reasoning. Ability to explain why decisions are right.

Responsibilities

• Design task briefs from real brand marketing experiences focusing on testing planted issues and decisions a strong practitioner should make.
• Specify documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states for realistic task versions.
• Write or review reference answers and define criteria separating strong responses from plausible-but-wrong ones.
• Review AI agent attempts and judge them against your standards.
• Evaluate AI capabilities in diagnosing data, prioritizing, planning, QA, triage, research, reporting, and orchestrating multi-step work.
