Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / QA Lead to join our team in Canada, based in Toronto with remote flexibility. The role emphasizes end-to-end testing, data quality, and interoperability across applications and integrations.

You will lead requirements workshops, define mappings, create test strategies, and drive API testing using Postman and Swagger, coordinating with development and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of BA and/or QA Lead experience.
• Strong experience with enterprise application integrations.
• Hands-on API testing with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML.
• Experience with flat file interfaces and data exchange.
• Proficient in data mapping and end-to-end testing.
• Agile/Scrum with Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Lead workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Define source-to-target mappings, data mappings, transformation rules, and integration requirements.
• Develop business process flows, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Validate interoperability requirements between applications, platforms, vendors, and third-party systems.
• Create and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Lead functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing activities.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, and REST/SOAP services.
• Validate flat file interfaces, batch processing, file transformations, and end-to-end data flows.
• Conduct data reconciliation, data validation, and defect management activities.
• Ensure full requirements traceability from business requirements through testing and production deployment.
• Collaborate with development, integration, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and ensure quality deliverables.
