Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional QA or test engineering experience.
• Hands-on API testing with Postman and/or Thunder Client.
• Automation using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) and UFT.
• Strong SQL skills for validating data across environments.
• CI/CD integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute API test suites using Postman/Thunder Client.
• Develop and maintain automated tests with Playwright.
• Maintain UFT automation for legacy UI scenarios.
• Author and run SQL queries to validate backend data.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Validate non-functional requirements: performance basics, security, and accessibility.
• Triage defects and collaborate with engineers to reproduce and fix.
• Produce test plans, test cases, and data strategies.
• Mentor teams to raise automation maturity and testability.
