Davis Controls team, part of the Hoskin Group, seeks a Technical Sales Representative to grow revenue and expand presence in Canadian automation and process markets. The role requires developing opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering tailored solutions across the sales territory.

Ideally based in Parry Sound/South River, Coburg, Whitby, or Southampton Ontario. This is a remote role with expectations of high in-person customer engagement within the territory.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary education in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Instrumentation, Process Automation, or a related technical discipline.
• 5–7 years of progressive business development, technical sales, or account management experience within industrial process industries.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required to support customers and business growth initiatives.
• Excellent business development, prospecting, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales and growth plans to expand market presence and revenue.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across targeted industries.
• Follow up on proposals, quotations, and sales opportunities to drive conversion.
• Maintain a strong pipeline and provide accurate forecasting of bookings and revenue.
• Expand market share within existing accounts and develop new customer relationships.
• Provide technical guidance on system sizing, product selection, and application suitability.
