Job summary
Fidelity Canada is seeking an Application Support Developer to join the technology team on a 100% remote schedule. You will support FCC applications, handle incident queues, and assist with deployments and releases for internal and external clients.
Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in development and application support, experience with Appian, Unix/Linux, and REST APIs, and familiarity with SQL/PowerBI. The role offers a competitive CAD salary and a strong benefits package.
Qualifications
- College Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Development and Application Support role.
- Experience building enterprise workflows (Appian platform).
- Unix/Linux operating system and Unix scripts knowledge mandatory.
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile Development Methodologies.
- Experience with Ctrl-M, Java Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- Hands on experience with agile methodology and the Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence).
- 3+ years developing and maintaining SQL(Oracle), Java, PowerBI, Talend, ETL, Data Warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to internal teams and external clients as needed.
- Maintain FCC applications, deployments, and release work.
- Collaborate with off-shore Application Development Support Team.
- Remediate defects based on business priorities to address disruptions.
- Support systems integration and data workflows.
- Assist in ensuring FCC technology policies and procedures compliance.
