Job summary

Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC) is seeking an Incident & Release Manager to lead technology and operations incident response and manage application releases for FCC clients. This full-time role supports a remote schedule within Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in incident and release management, strong analytical and communication skills, and a solid background in banking/ brokerage environments with mid/back-office focus.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and continuously improving incident management role.
• Experience running complex technology and operational incidents.
• Solid knowledge and working experience in brokerage or banking business environment with focus on mid/back-office applications.
• Analytical thinker.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Superior communication skills both written and oral, ability to effectively communicate technical material to non-technical users.
• Strong ability to collaborate, influence and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage incident and release management for FCC applications.
• Coordinate major incident activities with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks.
• Coordinate post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and lessons learned.
• Ensure changes follow Fidelity Change Management policies.
• Plan and conduct periodic incident response training.
• Lead disaster recovery coordination with business continuity teams.
