Job summary

Fidelity Canada is seeking an Application Support Developer to join the technology team. The role covers technical support, deployments, and cross‑functional collaboration for FCC applications in production.

You will work with offshore teams and support defects, enhancements, and releases. The role requires Unix/Linux, Java Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Oracle SQL expertise, with experience in Appian workflows.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years’ experience in Development and Application Support role.
• Experience building enterprise workflows (Appian platform).
• Unix/Linux operating system knowledge mandatory.
• Experience with Java Spring Boot, REST APIs.
• Strong SQL (Oracle) experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when required.
• Update technical documents and procedures to reflect current state.
• Assist with application deployments and systems integration as needed.
• Collaborate with off‑shore Application Development Support Team.
• Support application enhancements and maintenance fixes within FCC/FIL/FIC vendors.
• Adhere to FCC technology policies and change management practices.
