Job summary

Fidelity Canada is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, test and maintain enterprise software applications and RESTful APIs in a fully remote setting. You will collaborate with product owners, BAs, QA, and fellow developers within an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires 2+ years in software development, a degree in CS/SE/Math/Econ or equivalent, and strong Java and Angular skills. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Economics or Mathematics or equivalent working experience
• 2+ years of experience in software development, preferably in financial services/mutual fund/investment industry
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated builds/tests/deployments
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains enterprise software applications, RESTful APIs, and system integrations
• Collaborates with product owners, business analysts, QA, and other developers in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle including CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Defines business requirements with stakeholders and maps end-to-end solutions
• Delivers high quality, scalable, maintainable solutions
