Jobgether is seeking an App Security Expert based in Canada to strengthen application security by designing test environments and evaluating vulnerabilities in traditional and AI-powered applications, with emphasis on LLM-related risks. You will develop deterministic test cases, evaluation frameworks, and remediation strategies, and collaborate with distributed teams in a remote setting.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience in application security or cybersecurity engineering.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation.
• Familiarity with OSWE-level concepts and practical security testing.
• Experience with AI-powered security testing and AI-SAST.
• Proven ability to design realistic security scenarios and deterministic tests.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Aufgaben

• Design and implement test fixtures containing vulnerabilities or secure implementations focusing on OWASP risks affecting LLMs.
• Develop realistic test scenarios addressing LLM security concerns like data disclosure and excessive agency.
• Create deterministic test cases and security-context manifests for consistent evaluation.
• Develop reference solutions and hidden keys to enable AI systems to evaluate vulnerabilities.
• Assess testing pipelines to ensure realistic, reproducible security tasks.
• Build and secure application codebases, identifying advanced vulnerabilities and remediation strategies.
• Contribute to security architectures for traditional and agent-based systems.
• Apply AI-powered SAST and LLM security to improve automated detection and assessment.
• Document findings, testing approaches, and remediation recommendations clearly.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and provide constructive feedback on contributions.
• Support continuous improvement of security evaluation pipelines.
