Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking an experienced security engineer to design and evaluate secure application codebases and fixtures. You will craft deterministic tests and security-context artifacts to assess AppSec readiness and provide clear, actionable recommendations.

The role emphasizes precise technical documentation, remote collaboration, and iterative improvements to security pipelines and agent-based architectures. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in application security or related CyberSWE roles.
• Understanding of OSWE, LLM security, and AI-powered static analysis (AI-SAST).
• Proven track record designing or evaluating security architecture for traditional and agent-based applications.
• Expertise in building, securing, and testing application codebases, including identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, focusing on precise technical documentation and collaborative feedback.
• Experience with synthetic security fixtures and deterministic testing approaches is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver thoughtful insights and actionable security recommendations remotely.
