Job summary

Outlier, an AI evaluation platform, seeks detail-oriented contributors to review AI media and rate outputs against prompts. You will conduct live scenarios with AI voice models, compare generated media, and explain issues in writing, remotely on your own schedule.

Eligible applicants are fluent in English, with strong attention to detail, and comfortable making clear decisions when options have flaws. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and patience to replay/zoom in when something seems off.
• Ability to think on your feet and explain realistic scenarios clearly.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making clear decisions when options have flaws.
• Bachelor’s degree or above is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness and usefulness.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos to judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot issues like artifacts, flickering, text errors, or misaligned audio.
• Write precise English explanations pointing to what was observed.
